Student startup membership includes:

  • Co-working Desk Space in the student startup room
  • Conference Rooms
  • Wi-Fi and Ethernet Ports
  • Shared Kitchen with Free Coffee and Snacks
  • Events and Free Lunch Programs
  • Reception Services
  • Copy machine, Printers, Projectors
  • Video Conferencing Services
  • Tech Community of 1400 Professionals
  • Shared services program

To be considered for student startup initiative space, the applicant:

  • Must have a founder/executive that is currently enrolled at the University of Illinois
  • Must be starting a for-profit business
  • Must have a real need for the services offered through EnterpriseWorks
  • Must be a technology-based business

*Most of the available student startup space is dedicated to Cozad New Venture Competition and Lemelson-Illinois Prize winners.

Student Startup Initiative Term

Student startup status is not expected to be a long term relationship with EnterpriseWorks and is granted for one year at a time.
