Campus Sustainability Mentorship Application

Campus Sustainability Mentorship Application

All internships and capstone projects should involve the student or students in solving a real world sustainability problem. During the project phase this should involve regular meetings and/or communciation between the mentor and the student with a well-defined deliverable that can be graded.

Students should be expected to spend 3-4 hours per week per credit hour on their project; for the 4-credit-hour capstone course, this equates to 12-16 hours per week.

Please note that all requests must be approved by the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment before being offered as an option to students.

If you have already identified a mentee or mentees to mentor, please include their name(s) and contact information below.  If not, we will promote opportunities to our students for them to partner with this project.

If you have any questions, please contact Micah Kenfield, Sustainability Programs Coordinator, via email at kenfield@illinois.edu
