SCORING RUBRIC
Submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Novelty (30%) -- How unique is this innovation? How clearly does it differentiate from existing innovations, alternatives, substitutes, etc.?
Impact on the field and society (30%) -- How much does the innovation advance the field of study? How likely is it to catalyze other innovations? To what degree will/has the innovation positively affected society? Does it impact underserved or under-resourced populations or advance social equity?
Feasibility (30%) -- How likely does the innovation get applied or consumed? To what degree is it currently being applied, if any? What amount of resources does/will it take to be applied or consumed?
Drive innovation, workforce development and inclusive growth throughout Illinois
Access and meet regional needs through a combination of collaborative research, public-private partnerships, and entrepreneurship and training programs
Collaborate with hubs across the state sharing best practices (in innovation)
Promote the value of higher education in Illinois and throughout the country.
