Office of the Provost
Booker T. Washington STEM Academy (BTW), University Laboratory High School (Uni High), and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CHBE) have teamed up to relaunch the St. Elmo Brady Academy at the University of Illinois. We seek faculty and other researchers to volunteer to lead hands-on, fun STEM activities for BTW 3rd, 4th, or 5th graders over the course of two-week modules this spring. You may sign up for either one week, for a full two-week module with a single grade level, or for multiple weeks with different grade levels. Your activity will be delivered to all classes within a grade level (approx. 50-70 students, divided into three groups of 15-25). Activities will take place from 9-11am on select Fridays this spring:
Please note that all activity organizers and volunteers must be fully vaccinated.
