Research description:

My research experiences lie in the sectors of supercomputing scientific visualization, software development for scientific computing and applied machine learning. My current research projects involve visualizing relativistic matter sources using supercomputing resources, developing software packages for scramjet simulations, and using machine learning to predict course success by analyzing a student’s past academic history.

Advice:

Don’t be afraid to email more than once. Professors are busy people, sometimes they don’t see your email or accidentally delete it. A good rule of thumb is to wait two weeks, if you get no response by then, email back and repeat until you get a clear rejection.

Request a meeting:

Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help in getting started with your research journey, are overwhelmed with trying to balance research and classes, are trying to figure out how to make the most out of your research experience or anything else.
